A free RPC that pays you back for the MEV you create.
Daybreak is a free MEV rebate RPC. It routes your transactions securely to the network, so front-runners and sandwich bots can't get ahead of them. If a transaction generates backrun profit, a share is credited to you to claim.
How MEV protection works
Daybreak is a drop-in replacement for the public RPC. Here is what happens to a transaction sent through it.
01Send
You send a transaction as usual
Point your wallet at Daybreak instead of the public RPC. Nothing else about how you use it changes.
02Route
Daybreak routes it to the network
It reaches the network within milliseconds, on a path nobody can front-run or sandwich. It lands at the price you saw.
03Backrun
A partner searcher backruns it
If your trade moves a price, a searcher working with Daybreak trades right after it to capture the difference.
04Rebate
Your rebate is credited for you to claim
The searcher deposits a share of the profit into a claims contract, credited to the address that sent the transaction. Claim it whenever you like.
Networks
One URL per network. Use the same URL in a wallet, a script, or a server.
| Network | Chain ID | RPC URL | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8453 | https://base.daybreak-rpc.network | Live | |
| 42161 | https://arbitrum.daybreak-rpc.network | Coming soon | |
| 4663 | https://robinhood.daybreak-rpc.network | Live | |
| 5042 | https://arc.daybreak-rpc.network | Coming soon |
Adding it to your wallet by hand
In your wallet's network settings, choose to add or edit a network. Set the RPC URL to the address above for that chain and keep the chain ID, currency symbol, and explorer as they are. Switch to the new network and you're done.
For developers
Standard JSON-RPC over HTTPS. Reads behave like any other node. Transactions sent with eth_sendRawTransaction are protected from front-running and eligible for MEV rebates.
curl https://base.daybreak-rpc.network \
-H 'content-type: application/json' \
-d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"eth_blockNumber","params":[]}'import { createPublicClient, http } from "viem";
import { base } from "viem/chains";
const client = createPublicClient({
chain: base,
transport: http("https://base.daybreak-rpc.network"),
});- No API key. Rate limits apply per IP and are set so wallets and small apps never hit them.
- Transactions are routed to the network within milliseconds, on a path that cannot be front-run or sandwiched.
- Rebates are a share of searcher backrun profit, credited to the sender in the claims contract.
Questions
Does this cost anything? Do I need to sign up?
There is no need to sign up or pay anything. If your transaction generates a backrun profit found by our searchers, your share of the profit is stored against your address, claimable for up to one year.
How does this work?
Your transaction lands unchanged and at the price you saw. If it moves a price, a searcher working with Daybreak trades immediately after it, never before, and captures the difference. The searcher keeps part of that for their work, Daybreak takes a small cut for running the service, and the rest is credited to your address in an on-chain contract that only you can withdraw from.
Will my transactions be slower?
No. Daybreak routes your transaction to the network within milliseconds, just like any other RPC.
Can Daybreak see or change my transactions?
Daybreak sees the signed transaction, as any RPC does. It cannot change it: a signed transaction is invalid if a single byte is altered. It never sees your private keys.
What if a transaction doesn’t get included?
Inclusion is up to the chain, as with any other RPC. If it is rejected, your wallet shows it as failed and you can resend it.
How do I claim my rebates?
Connect the wallet you transact with on the claims page. It shows what has been credited to your address on each network, and one transaction sends it to your wallet. You pay the gas for that claim.
Is there a deadline to claim?
Yes. Your rebates are held for you for one year, and you can claim at any time until then.
How does Daybreak make money?
From a small part of the backrun profit, taken before your share is credited. It is never added to your gas or your trade. If a transaction produces no backrun profit, Daybreak earns nothing from it.
Does this work with hardware wallets?
Yes. Daybreak works with all wallet types. You just need to change the RPC URL to Daybreak’s RPC.
