Privacy Policy
Last updated 2 October 2026
This Privacy Policy (“this Policy”) outlines how Daybreak (“we”) collects, uses, holds, discloses or otherwise handles your personal information. This Policy covers your use of this website and the Daybreak RPC endpoints.
What personal information do we collect?
This website
This website does not use cookies or similar technologies, does not collect analytics, and does not store information on your device. We do not track you over time or across third-party websites. Accordingly, we do not respond differently to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals or similar mechanisms, as there is no tracking for such signals to disable.
The site is served by a third-party hosting provider, which collects your IP address and standard request details (such as your browser's user agent and the page requested) in order to deliver the page and protect it from abuse.
The RPC endpoints
When you use a Daybreak RPC URL, we automatically receive, as part of each request:
- the requests your wallet or app sends, including signed transactions, the addresses involved and the data you query;
- your IP address, and the request metadata that comes with it.
We will not collect any sensitive information about you.
How do we use your personal information?
We will use your information primarily to provide you with the services you request from us. Your information will not be used for market research, demographic purposes, or for personalisation.
Legal basis
Where legislation or regulation asks for a legal basis, as the GDPR does, we rely on:
- providing the service you asked for: answering your requests, routing your transactions, and showing your rebates;
- our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and available, including but not limited to rate limiting, preventing abuse and fixing problems;
- meeting a legal obligation, keeping or disclosing information as required by law.
Where we rely on legitimate interest, you can object at any time by emailing us at the address below.
Retention of personal information
We retain your personal information collected as described in this Policy for no longer than a period of 14 days.
International transfers
Our infrastructure providers may process information in countries other than your own, such as the United States, Japan, Germany and the UK. Where the law requires it, these transfers are protected by safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Security
We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information remains confidential and secure. Specific steps that we are taking include, but are not limited to:
- Technological measures, such as encrypted traffic and signed certificates;
- Restricting access to your information to only the people who require access to that information.
Public blockchain data
Transactions you send through our services are recorded on public blockchains. That data is publicly accessible, and we cannot delete or change it. This Policy does not cover that data in any way, shape or form.
Who we share information with
- Infrastructure providers, such as the network, cloud and hosting providers that run our service, process traffic on our behalf.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling. Where we disclose your personal information to third parties, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the same data security and privacy practices are respected.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. To make a request, email us at the address below. We may need to request additional details in order to identify you.
We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our response. If you are still unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the data protection authority depending on where you live.
Children
Daybreak is not intended for use by anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.
Changes
If we change this Policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use your information, we will also post a notice on this website before it takes effect.
